I authored an article about Fiscal Responsibility that we posted on our Vote 1-3-5 for District 15 web site. Synopsis: The incumbents claim “Fiscal Responsibility” on one of their flyers. But their actions speak much louder than their words… The incumbents approved contracts and budgets District 15 could not afford. These actions resulted in $4 [...] I want to thank everyone who came to last night’s candidate forum sponsored by the NWSC PTA to learn more about the candidates and the issues. In case you weren’t able to attend, following are my opening and closing statements. My Opening Statement About Myself I’d first like to tell you a little about myself. [...] The Daily Herald endorsed the incumbents. Really?!?!? DH said District 15 needs “demonstrated competence and judgment”… District 15 had two years of balanced budgets in 2007-08 and 2008-09. Then the incumbents negotiated and approved contracts and budgets leading to a $4 million deficit this year and $47 million in deficits over the next five years.
